Dressedtothenines under Niall Madden, ran out a good winner of the Naas Supporters Handicap Hurdle despite her carrying a hefty weight of eleven stone seven.

The Eddie Harty trained 6yo daughter of Oscar (second winner of the afternoon for him after Mallowney in the first) hit the front on the run to the second last and she kept on well on the run-in to see off the challenge of Vics Canvas & Conor Maxwell (6/1) by a length and a quarter. Rye Martini (20/1) ran a fine race to finish a further two and three parts of a length back in third under Jane Mangan for Colm Murphy while Kashline (12/1) completed the placings a further length and a quarter back in fourth under Kevin Sexton for Colin Bowe.

Eddie Harty said afterwards: "That was nice, she is a nice mare. I said to Frank (Frank Berry) that she would either prove to be well in or not.

"She has only gone up seven pounds for all her good runs since winning on her second start. I said if she had the same form in handicaps she may have been higher.

"We decided to come here rather than run in a mares conditions race as they can be very strong at this time of the year.

"She travelled better today on the bit better ground and she looked to have it sown up turning in barring a mistake."
