Bajan wins feature at Dundalk
The feature race of the day, the Bar One Racing Premier Handicap was won by the English raider Bajan Tryst for trainer Kevin Ryan.
Pat Smullen who took the riding honours had his mount in front with over two furlongs to go.
The pair kept on well inside the final furlong to see off all challengers and record a cosy length and a quarter win.
Winning jockey Smullen said afterwards: “He deserved that win, he ran very well at the Curragh and Goodwood.”
“The six furlongs was a big help to him, especially that we could get some cover for him. He did it very well.”
