Another victory for Vinnie
Gallant front-runner Vinnie completed his second win in a week when gamely making all, under regular rider Barry Cash, for a length and three parts success in the Graun Hill Handicap Hurdle at Tramore today.
The son of Tiraaz was clear for much of the two miles races but was all out on the run-in before holding off the challenge of Trikirk which stayed on late having been outpaced for most of the race.
Afterwards Co Carlow based winning trainer Willie Murphy stated “Vinnie was having his third hard race in a short period and may have a break now. He is happy racing from the front and received a great ride from a great rider.”
