3 Bumpers in a Week for Harrington/Fahey
Jessica Harrington sent out her third newcomer in a week to win a bumper when as was the case with the other two (Hugo De Vindecy and Roberto Goldback), Mark Fahey took the reins on Saludos who he got home by three parts of a length in the Irish Racing Yearbook Flat Race at Navan.
In front about two and a half furlongs out, the 7/1 shot needed the line towards the finish as he held off Western Leader by three parts of a length.
Harrington commented: "That is great because he is a home bred. He is a fine big horse and he just got a bit lonely in front. At the end of the day he'll be a chaser." (EM)
