Renneti blitzed his rivals in the concluding Profile Systems Naas October Handicap, coming home fourteen lengths to the good under Chris Hayes for Willie Mullins.

Hayes, who was earlier successful on Trevanna was completing a 103/1 brace on the Rich and Susanna Ricci owned gelding.

Without a win since August of 2015, the bay son of Irish Wells was a good fourth in last year's Cesarewitch at Newmarket, and was again fourth in the Connacht Hotel Handicap on the opening day of the Galway Festival.

His last two efforts were disappointing, and he went off a 7/1 chance today having being available at 12/1 chance in early shows on Saturday evening.

Sent straight to the front by Hayes, the seven-year-old gelding made all, and powered clear when ridden over a furlong out, staying on strongly to score in impressive fashion. My Direction who was backed from 9/1 to 6/1 on-course, came through to take second under Wayne Lordan for Ellmarie Holden, while Maneen was three parts of a length back in third under Pat Smullen for Dermot Weld at 10/1. Master Ring was sent off the 3/1 favourite and he was fourth, another length and a half back under Shane Foley for Mick Halford.

Hayes, who won the Cesarewitch on Laws Of Spin for Mullins last Sunday, said afterwards: "That's the great thing about riding for Willie Mullins. I rang him and said I had a gameplan and he said do your own thing.

"You saw yourself he's a bit quirky. I won a bit too far so he decided to drop me after the line. Thankfully it was after the line he did it.

"I was getting it so easy in front and I couldn't believe how handy they were letting me have it. I just keep filling him up and filling him up.

"He told me to stay on the bridle as long as I can so I kept squeezing him. I thought they were coming at me, after going so steady, but I heard nothing.

"I gave him a couple of flicks and then looked up at the screen. I've won far too far - I'd say I could be in trouble!

"He is (Mullins) a genius to ride for. All his horses are so straightforward and try so hard."

Willie Mullins was completing an across the card double, having earlier scored with New Kid In Town at Cork.
