He is a horse that has never really felt as good as he has this winter. Diego has done a brilliant job on him. He's had plenty of racing and he has got his rub of the green a couple of times but, whatever has come into his head since he has got back onto the all-weather, he's a different horse. It has really rejuvenated him and he's probably running in the form of his life. We didn't think coming back to five (furlongs) was ideal but, because of the form he was in, we had to take a chance. He is a horse that has always operated on tighter tracks on the turf, like Listowel, because he has plenty of speed early on. He definitely has options.

it was a great ride by Danny, he dictated the pace the way he wanted. He said there was no pace so had to jump forward. We like him, he battled back and is a nice horse. This gives us more options, he will probably get a break now and go back to the turf. I'm looking forward to it. I have 16 horses in training and plenty of juveniles.

that's my first winner and my second runner and my other runner finished second last week. I received my license a month ago and have been in Ireland for 20 years, doing breeze-up horses. It was a good feeling and nice to have the first winner. this is only a Plan B for horses which don't sell at the breeze-ups and it gives them another chance. I bought this horse and he won first-time up when Jimmy Coogan trained him for me. I am from Minas Gerais (population 22m) in Brazil, rode there and also rode a couple of winners in Ireland. I have six horses which didn't sell at the breeze-ups to run on the track and this horse is for sale so I've no plan in mind - we'll will see how he is.

I thought he’d run well and with a bit of luck might finish in the first three or four. I’m very happy with him. He’s shown a bit at home and has worked well. he was bought for 12 grand at a breeze up sale in France and the owner (Diego Dias) is a man who sells, so I’d say he’ll probably be sold.
