she has been consistent all year, I gave her a break after she ran at Wexford and freshened her up. She had been running every second week and had been winning prizemoney every day so we kept running her. I think the little freshen up has done her the world of good. Today's 2m4f and the ground suit every day and once it's not soft she is always happy on it. The rain will probably come and end her season. I was a bit worried as she was the first one in the yard to lose her coat and had gone a bit hairy so I was wondering should I clip her. Obviously it made no difference - she must have been in a cold stable!

She won over two and a half the last day and I thought coming back might be a bit short. She’s run well over two here before and James gave her a good ride and was good and positive on her. It was a good true run race and when we got the split he said there was no point in disappointing her. She was travelling so he let her on. She jumps so well and you would love to have a yard of them. You can run her every two weeks over hurdles or fences. I think she has run 12 times this year and collected (money) on ten. She’s in Thurles on Thursday so we’ll see how she comes out of this. She is owned by my father Robert who is away in Tenerife at the moment.

That was her first handicap over fences. She had one run in a beginners' at the back-end of last year. She has always jumped well and ran in point-to-points in her early days. She ran on Saturday in Tramore and could have won there. Danny Mullins went wide on the winner and we went down the inner. The first four went down the outside and we were fifth. She was just unlucky there, Jordan (Gainford) just went the wrong way. He got caught a little bit and went down the inner thinking he could make up the ground. He just didn't trust himself and he knew it afterwards. We had a good second in a bumper on Sunday as well and the horses are coming into form. My dad Robert owns her.

She has always worked well at home and was placed in three maiden hurdles last year but didn’t put it together this year. She’s been unlucky unseating a few times,.
