We'll keep him handicapping. Johnny said he is improving. A mile and one on softish ground is far enough for him, he just got found out over a furlong further last time. Ground dependent we'll step him back up to the same trip at the Curragh at the next meeting.

He's a not a bad horse. There is another apprentice race coming up in the Curragh in a couple of weeks time and we'll more than likely go there.

That's my sixth winner of the season. I have nine horses in training and that's five individual winner's as one of the horses won twice. He got through the ground better than I thought. This horse is owned by Anthony Calahan who is a doctor from Bandon. We will probably go for something similar with him next.
