Turner Brown likes it around here and while I had been planning in sending him to run in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham, he needed to win today to get into that race. He did it well today.

We were a bit worried about the ground. We thought it would be a bit tacky for him but he has a big heart. He may be aimed at the Martin Pipe conditional riders handicap hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

I was worried about the trip as I thought it might be too short for him. He did it well though, he stuck his neck out and jumped brilliantly. Andrew had loads of confidence going out. Hopefully he'll go to Cheltenham next for a two mile five conditional jockeys hurdle on the Friday of the November meeting.

He's consistent and deserves that. We'll give him a break now and take him to Listowel as long as the ground is good,. He'll go chasing next season. He wouldn't run during the winter as he wants decent ground so we'll put him away after Listowel.
