Tim Carroll did all the schooling on him and from day one he's been brilliant. He just can't wait to get to the next one. Davy said he has never sat on a novice like him. Last year he had a little wind op - he just had a blockage. We always thought he was a good horse but he was pulled up twice. The plan is the Drinmore along with the other lad (Realt Dubh), unfortunately that's the way it goes. Hopefully the two of them stay right. They both want a trip.

Thegreatjohnbrowne is in great form and we're happy with all he's done over fences. He had a win operation last Spring and, while we always thought an awful lot of him, his form seems to have been transformed. He is a definite runner.

He's a gorgeous horse but that's it for him in bumpers now. They went very slow there and that wouldn't have suited, he wants a good gallop. He jumps well and he'll go to Leopardstown at Christmas. He was going to run a very nice race at Punchestown before unshipping M J at the last. He was still a bit green out there today. I think a lot of him and if he stays right he'll be a good horse.
