I threw her out in the field for two weeks after Kilbeggan (second to Ruaille Buaille in early June) and pulled her in three weeks ago and she is only riding out a couple of weeks. She goes and wins and that's her fourth win. She was only beaten a length in the Graded mares' novice hurdle at Down Royal last November and that race would be her main target running into the winter and we'll go from there. I know Shane well from riding in point-to-points, he is a good rider, has ridden a few winners for me and will be busy during Galway.

Her form was very good. She ran well behind Skyace and was second to Royal Kahala . She was then nearly brought down at Leopardstown and we decided to keep campaigning in the bigger races and wait for next season. She is still a novice and my claim is gone now - 16 years later!

that's a relief because there was a lot of pressure coming into the race and I said beforehand she was only 80% ready and she looked a bit heavy in the parade ring. She will improve a lot from this and today was the prep race for a Listed bumper at Navan in three weeks time and the fact she has gone and won it is a bonus. She is a good mare. She is a brilliant jumper but she'll stay in bumpers this season and go hurdling next year.
