he deserved it in fairness as he doesn't know how to run a bad race. You just wonder with him creeping up the handicap would he win a big one and we'll look at Fairyhouse at the end of November and then Leopardstown at Christmas. He could probably do with a little break at some stage as he has been on the go a long time.

he has earned his right to travel now as his form is very solid and he jumps very well. He is honest, tough and is straightforward and is the right type to bring to Cheltenham - he's not one to have a nervous breakdown and run like his tail is on fire on the way to the first hurdle!. He'll enjoy the hustle and bustle and I presume he'll go for the Triumph Hurdle as he'll have a lot of weight in the Fred Winter.

he did it nicely and loves the jumping. The ground today wasn't an issue as he went through pretty bad ground during the summer. We'll take baby steps with him . there's a couple of winners' hurdle races before Leopardstown at Christmas for him.

I'm happy enough he won. That's sort of his grade though he handled that ground better than I thought he would.
