I didn't even see the race as I was in with the physio getting some work done on my back!. I was just listening to it while getting needles stuck into me. He loves it around here and he's after getting strong so he handled the slower surface. It's a great pot to win with him. The horses have been hitting the crossbar for ages without getting their head in front. The owner is a great supporter of ours and a great supporter of Irish racing so I'm thrilled for him.

He's a smashing horse. It had the makings of a good race and I'd say it rode like a good race,. He's just getting stronger all the time and I'd have no worries about him going on the grass either. We'll take our time, he's done well to do what he's done so far, and we'll pick a race in six or eight weeks time.

He’d a very promising start so it was nice to build on that. He’s a lovely big raw horse and still very much a baby. Colin gave him a good ride, kept it simple and he galloped out strong to the line. He has a good attitude and wants to please you. There are some smart horses up here and the maidens are taking some winning. The form will stand up anywhere. It’s out first horse for that owner (Nasir Askar) who is Dubai-based. We might give him a bit of time now and bring him along gradually.
