He won over 1m4f at Dundalk but being a bumper winner, we always thought he wanted further than this (1m2f),. He is 17 hands and maybe has now got a bit stronger and I was pleased with both of them (also runner-up Le Vagabond). Both will go to Punchestown for a couple of handicap hurdles next and will mix it for the summer.

He's in the Cesarewitch. I don't know if he'll go there or maybe the November Handicap at Leopardstown. I'll discuss it with the owner, my son-in-law (Robert Byrne), and it's whatever he says. He may go for a hurdle after that. He's getting better. He couldn't handle that ground 12 months ago but he's stronger now.

He did today what we hoped he'd do a couple of runs ago, and is a half brother to Jumbo RIo, who was quite useful for me. I'm not sure whether he'll go for a winners bumper or hurdle next, but he'll be kept on the go during the summer as he likes that good ground.
