Everyone will be thrilled with him. Everyone in the yard is massively involved with him. To go and win 17 races is unbelievable. He is a credit to everyone. He idled a bit going down to the last and then he picked up a bit from the back of it. That's him, I suppose, he doesn't do much when he gets to the front. That's why he is able to run so often. He minds himself too. He got away with it (the ground) today. When I got out of the car and it was raining I was getting a bit disappointed. We have him since a young horse and it's a fair achievement for what he has done. I think he is not finished winning yet. He'll definitely have an entry for the Galway Plate, but come Galway midweek the ground always gets a bit soft for him and he is going to probably have top weight this year.

He is an unbelievable horse. When I looked at the race I thought he had a great chance and conditions and everything came right,. He'll go to Cheltenham now for a handicap chase next month. That's as long as he comes out of today ok. If the ground is good over there, the boys are keen to go back for the craic. The weather will tell us where we go after Cheltenham or whether we give him a break until the spring. He was actually heavy coming here today as we gave him a break after Galway. I left him out of the Grade 1 chase at Down Royal as he wouldn't get his ground, it would be too hot for him and the trip would be too far.

This race was never the plan - the plan was to go to Leopardstown (for a flat maiden) but they changed the rules for the Amateur Handicap at Galway and now a horse has to have run three times on the flat to qualify, so I said I'd stick him into this race and see. It worked out a great opportunity and he was in great form. He has been plenty busy but he is taking his races so well. He is loving it and will now go straight to Galway. He'll be entered in the Plate and the 3m hurdle on the Saturday. We'll see what happens and hopefully he comes out of this race well. I'd love to win a flat maiden with him this year as his easiest options over jumps are now all gone.

He’s an unbelievable horse for the yard. Full credit to everyone at home for keeping him sound and right. He runs on hard ground day in and day out, and he’s just a sounder and happier horse this year. He might be entered in the Galway Plate, and if the ground is quick he could go there. He’s in at Leopardstown next Thursday and I’ll see how he is. I’d love to run him on the Flat as it could give us an option for Galway. If he happened to win it could give him a nice mark for the amateur handicap. Our best chance of good ground in Galway is probably the first few days. He has a nice mark over hurdles and there could be a nice day in him over hurdles if everything goes well and he stays healthy.

He’s some horse to have in the yard and there are plenty more in the family coming along. There is a conditions hurdle in a few weeks’ time that he could go for. I doubt if he’ll go for a Galway Plate with a mark of 157. If Listowel came up quick he could go there for the Kerry National. There is a handicap hurdle at Galway that he might go for as he’s got a mark of 139. Unless it rains he’ll stay going as his races take nothing out of him. He’s very ground dependent and even today his jumping wasn’t as quick as it was in the handicap. I’d love to get a handicap mark for him on the Flat.

I honestly thought coming here that he was in better form than he was going to Killarney and I couldn’t believe the price (14/1) he was. It’s great for Kevin and he gave him a great ride. He’s a lovely horse and the quick ground here today really suited him. He minds himself and just barely puts his head in front. I don’t know what he’ll go for. There is a conditions race in Punchestown in a couple of weeks, and I have entered him on the Flat in Listowel. He’ll be busy over the summer as he takes his racing well on the good ground. I’d love to have a handicap mark with him on the Flat and go for some of the nice handicaps with him because he doesn’t lack a bit of toe. I’d love to say he’d go for the Plate but the ground often ends up being too soft for him at Galway. The few times he ran there he ran bad. If I thought the ground was going to be quick I’d love to go there but I doubt it. He’s some horse to have and I got some buzz out of that win today.

It's great for Kevin as he has had issues and is back working with me for three or four weeks. He has his head down now and fingers crossed he can go on from here and get back to where he was a couple of years ago. He is a great rider and hopefully every thing goes right for him now. He will be a big asset for the yard,. He had an operation on his wrist at Christmas and today was his first day back; he was going to start back on Saturday and I said to leave it to today as I had Peregrine and Room To Roam (in the opener). Also a big thanks must go to the owners for giving Kevin the spin.

I'm delighted he won and to be honest I was disappointed with his last two runs. It's great for him to be back winning. He will be entered for the weekend at Down Royal and if the ground is quick and he comes out of this okay he might go up there for the second season novice. More than likely he'd be finished up for the season after that. He is after winning ten races for us now so he is doing a right job. If the ground is quick, and he is okay, Down Royal is where we are going to go. It's been dry for so long that when it starts raining it probably won't stop. It's great for his owners. It's a pity Mine Now got a fall but he got up. He is in great form the whole time. We changed tactics a bit too much on his last few runs, we were riding him a bit handier with the blinkers on him. That was probably the wrong thing to do because he has to be switched off out the back, and that's what we done with him today. He was well entitled to win today with his mark. Dropping him in and getting him switched off is the way to ride him. Hopefully it'll stay dry until the weekend at Down Royal.

I'm absolutely thrilled to get him back winning,. He very seldom runs a bad race but things went wrong when we brought him to Ayr and the ground went against him in Galway. I think the blinkers worked today and sharpened him up and his jumping was very quick. He has had a light campaign and there are lots of options for him; he'll go to the Kerry National if the ground is quick enough but there's also a little hurdle race for him at Down Royal next week. We'll see where are with him but he'll be kept busy away as when the ground turns soft we know we are at nothing with him. He is owned by a brilliant family, the Byrnes from Offaly so it's great.

I'm thrilled for the horse and he is after winning eight races for us now,. Ruby's horse (Rathvinden) beat us the last day but I thought if we could beat him anywhere it would be here with the three fences in the straight being a huge help, as he doesn't do a lot in front. Galway turned into too much of a slog with the three furlongs uphill finish. He'll tip away as long as the ground stays nice and I'd love to go to Cheltenham again in November! That's the plan with him and after that we'll freshen him up for something later on in the spring time. . Roger (Loughran) gets on very well with him and Aoife (Fahey), my niece, rides him out at home and does a great job with him.

I'm thrilled with him to be honest and he has taken to fences really well. It was a different race today and they went a really good gallop but won snug enough at the end. He'll go to Galway next for the Grade 3 novice chase over two and a quarter miles. I think stepping him up in trip will definitely improve him a good bit and his best form over hurdles is over a trip as well. Fair play to Roger, he does everything with the horse and is getting a tune out of him every time. When we went to Cheltenham (in March) we gave him a few weeks off, and we came back with the aim to get a few nice runs into him and get experience for Galway. Galway was always going to be the aim and hopefully we can keep him in the same form until then. We've been very lucky with them, and the form they are after hitting in the last while. Full credit to the team at home, I was away for a while and they've kept everything going. Long may it continue and we'll enjoy it while it's lasting.

He's definitely improving away. If the ground turns soft here he could go to the Open meeting at Cheltenham for a Graded novice. If it goes soft overall we can give him a break until next spring. You wouldn't know that he's improved much at home as he doesn't show a lot.

It was a good performance. We were waiting the whole time with him to get nice ground. I'm delighted for the owner (Vincent Byrne from Co. Hopefully he'll go on now and turn into a nice enough horse.
