He must have tapped his head in the horse box as something wasn't right with him even though he scoped ok.We are back on track and will aim for the Hennessy back here if he stays right. We are still dreaming of the Gold Cup. He worked very well at Dundalk last Thursday and had some good horses behind him. We'll enjoy today. We know he goes left handed and that was only his fifth run over fences so he is still improving. I wouldn't run him on good ground. It has to be yielding or softer. The Listener put in an eyecatching display of frontrunning with some prodigious leaps coming off a break off 416 days before fading at the business end of the race. Pandorama received quotes of 14/1 and 16/1 for the Gold Cup from Sean Graham and Boylesports respectively. William Hill go 20/1.

This season has been a disaster for Pandorama and, while he must simply have banged his head when withdrawn at Down Royal, he jumped straight into the second fence in the Hennessy before being hampered two fences later. He is still a very good horse though and will run in the Lexus Chase.

I don't think he'll run before Cheltenham now. He's 14 kilo's lighter today than the last day he ran and thirty pounds lighter than when he won his beginners at Punchestown. So he'll have a break now. We were aiming for the Moriarty but I think we'll give that a miss now. He comes out well fresh and he wouldn't want the ground any quicker than that. I wasn't 100% happy with him before today.

Robert (Bagnall, the winning owner) backed this fellow at 7/1 which I couldn't believe. You lads (the press) were saying that the Fighting Fifth was going to be the best hurdle race run this year and then after the race you're all saying it was a nothing of a race (because of the lack of pace). It was the same with this fellow. He jumped left the last day and everyone got caught up on that. But the fences at Punchestown are the width of the parade ring! He was up there in front and he went left at the first one and suddenly he was going down to every fence and getting worse and worse and worse. He (Paul Carberry) had no chance to correct him as he was there in front on his own and trying to win the race. Today now he got a lead and he was totally different. The engine is there. I think he could improve from today. Davy said his jumping was a small bit sketchy. He only schooled him over a couple so he wouldn't know him as well as the other fellow (Paul Carberry). The 3m 1f at Leopardstown at Christmas will be the next day. The RSA Chase and the Moriarty would be other races for him. If everything is all right, Christmas is the plan now. Jered would like a little bit better ground. He is not as big as the winner and he missed a few fences too.

Wow, that would keep you dreaming. He was awesome. He handles soft ground really well, he has a huge engine and is very clear winded. He probably is best on soft ground and I wouldn't like to see him running on fast ground. He only has a very light pedigree but he is really laid back and his next start will be in the Barry & Sandra Kelly Memorial Novice Hurdle here (December 14th) and then he'll have a break before coming back in the spring.

We decided today to bounce him out quick and to let him roll along and use his jumping. I don't know what happened him the last day (made a bad mistake in the Star 'Best For Racing Coverage' Chase that went to War Of Attrition) as he never makes a mistake. He is getting on but he is still very useful and he is better when he doesn't run too often. Two to two and a half miles is okay for him but I don't know where he'll go next. He won't go Cheltenham for the Paddy Power as it'll come too soon.
