I only have three or four in training and being in a small yard suits him. If he was in a big yard he would have been shot! He is very highly strung and a box walker. He runs around the stable at 100 miles per hour if the stable door is closed, but we leave the door open and he can walk around the yard. We'll try not to be too hard on him as a four-year-old. He jumps great and longterm could be an Arkle chase horse. He's much better now than he was at Galway [won a flat handicap over one mile-and-a-half] where his preparation was rushed.

He stays well and he is by Sulamani and they all stay well. He is the third horse out of the dam to win around Galway which is extraordinary!. He is badly handicapped over hurdles. He got a rating of 117 for winning a bad maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe. I was experimenting with him as I don't have him that long, I paid only €800 for him as he was a bad box walker. I wasn't sure about the trip for him today but he is staying better than I thought. I gave the young lad the wrong instructions on Monday.

Today was the plan. It might not have been the strongest race but he'll make a nice hurdler,. He'll go the novice hurdle route but could run in a Flat race at Galway next.
