After race at Clonmel Thu, 15th Feb, 2024 (1st)  I said to Kevin beforehand that the other horses were likely to go mad (fast) on the ground. I hadn't him as ready as I had him going to Tramore and I said to Kevin to ride him to run well and he is a genius at doing that. . He tipped around, never panicked, came home well and you could see that the leaders were starting to walk coming to the last. I thought the two miles would be too sharp for him, but he is a great horse who has now won five races and retains his enthusiasm as a 12 year old. . Kevin has come back from injuries and is a great rider who deserves his chance. Declan Queally

After race at Tramore Mon, 1st Jan, 2024 (1st)  Mick Charlie turned 12 today and is still running around the gallops with the young lads every day. He is a good old horse at this level, he has a mark of 91 over fences so could go back over them. He'll probably find it harder over hurdles now but is a good sound horse whom we like. After race at Kilbeggan Fri, 9th Jul, 2021 (1st)  He’d a number of good runs last summer and had slipped up the handicap so Shane’s claim was a big help,. He’s entered in Killarney next week so we’ll see how he comes out of this and what the handicapper does with him. He can run over fences or hurdles at the country tracks. He’s a grand fun horse.
