Half a loaf is better than no bread!,. He doesn't seem to let himself down early on that ground but warmed to it and flew home.

To be honest I really didn't want to run him as I thought the ground was too fast but the owner convinced me. He's had plenty of problems in the past, he disappointed us at Fairyhouse in a hurdle race but we discovered he had a palate problem so he's had an operation on it and it seems to have done the trick. Hopefully he'll go on to win again, he's a nice horse with plenty ability if we can keep him right. We wouldn't run him on anything faster than it was today as he's had leg problems in the past.
