We'll have to go to Galway and I may put out her ride in the amateur handicap to tender! I'll hardly be short of offers. She's in a hurdle race at Limerick on Sunday. We'll see how she is in the morning, but it may be asking a bit much. She's in foal to Fame And Glory. She's only barely a month in foal so there's plenty of time to race yet. Luke is a grand lad and gave her a good ride.

She had been running badly, but we discovered her wind was wrong, so she had a wind operation. I have to thank everyone at Sycamore Lodge for all their work, as we always thought a lot of her. It's a first ever winner for her joint owner Roy Spiller, who is ninety-one. She is handicapped on the flat and we will try a find a flat handicap for her next. I wonder what the handicapper will do with her now? I hope he will be gentle on her!. I had her home at 5 yesterday and she was bucking and playing in the garden and ate up all her food this morning so we said we would bring her here today.

We always thought there was a bit of class about this one. The last day was the plan but Davy Russell (2nd to Wikjikura at Roscommon) upset that and there was no 25/1 about our one today. She could go back to the flat at Killarney next Tuesday now. That'll put the people of Knockcroghery back on top. I used to pull up there years ago for a pint on the way to Sligo when you could take a drink and drive. I read up about the place and there is a great history to there. This filly has a good old pedigree. She is by Pelder who stands with Michael Bowe beside me at Greentree Stud.
