Robert is adamant he would have won. He thinks the lad in front was stopping but we'll never know. It was a good tough performance and he stays very well and he jumps really well too. It is nice to get a winner for J P (McManus, the owner). We'll go for another similar hurdle next and then he'll go back chasing. We think there could be a good three mile chase in him.

It's good to get a winner in this day and age! He was good and fit coming here and we'll try and win another hurdle with him. He'll go back chasing sooner rather than later and I see him as a nice staying type.

He was a lucky winner but it's nice to get one now and then. I can't remember the last time I got a lucky winner,. They went very fast and Mark (Walsh) said he was in trouble at halfway as he was struggling to keep up. The horse stays three miles though and it was a combination of them going too fast and stopping in front.
