I’d be surprised (if either of his two runners won, including well beaten The Game Changer) and I was half-thinking of going point to pointing with Clarcam but the entries are small here so I entered him and that tells it’s own story!

I’m a bit surprised as he hates the ground and he’s had three quick runs. It’s a credit to the horse and he is a dual Grade 1 winner. He was tough and I don’t think anything went to plan but he’s won another €11,000. He’s in again on Sunday (in the Tied Cottage) at Punchestown but he won’t run. He’s a tough little horse and I’m delighted to see him win.

It's great for Bryan as this is the horse that he broke his leg on at Cheltenham. I know Vautour made mistakes but my horse didn't just win a length or two - he destroyed them. Bryan gave him a great ride - I thought he got to the front a bit soon, but it worked out grand. It's great to win another Grade One for Gigginstown. They are great owners and it's great for all my staff, who do such a great job. We'll look at coming back here for the (Irish) Arkle and see what happens then.

Bryan sat up on him the other morning and we thought he'd need the run and Gigginstown were good enough to let him off, but unfortunately it's not worked out for him. It wasn't expected but it's nice. He'll more than likely go chasing now. Touch wood the way he jumps hurdles he should have no problem with fences.
