That's brilliant. He was unlucky at Christmas and was unlucky with Thurles being called off too,. We stuck him in this beforehand thinking if he won in Thurles or Leopardstown he'd be in the handicap. When he got carried out in Leopardstown we said we'd take a chance. I'm just delighted for the horse to have come back because he was lost there for a while but we figured out what was wrong with him and got him right. I'm delighted for the lads that own him. He has a couple of new owners in him as well so I'm delighted for them. He goes on any ground but I think he's at a stage now where nicer ground suits him better. He spent many runs running on real heavy ground so I'd say at this stage he doesn't mind a bit of nicer ground. We might go to Leopardstown, he'll have an entry anyway in something at the big meeting. This is by far my biggest winner and it's brilliant. It's a great pot and it's great to have a horse like him. We don't have many of his calibre, even though he's only rated 123, he's a long way above what we have. It's great to be able to come here and be competitive and I'm delighted that our luck changed as well. He was due a turn.

He’s improving with every run,. We were hopeful coming here today. It’s not ideal coming back after three or four days but he’s tough. He’s tough and hardy and I didn’t think he had much of a race the other day. It’s more that he was done for toe then and was staying on strongly at the line. They were going no gallop so Eamonn decided to let him roll along in front today. He stays well, he will stay a lot further, and he doesn’t mind that ground.

he did it well enough in the end - he was entitled to win on the back of his run the last day as the first and second have run well since. He doesn’t mind that ground and he’ll go for something similar next - he’s in at Down Royal on Tuesday just in case but I doubt he’ll run now. He could step up in trip as he stays further.

he was unlucky to run into a J.P. McManus owned horse at Galway and was very good today. Eamonn gave him a very good ride and Shane and Barry Potts (owner) do a great job with him at home. You'll probably see him running again over Christmas.
