She had a wind operation and that's why she was so long coming back. I put the tongue tie back on today and a pair of blinkers as she was not doing a thing in Killarney.

She was good. The ground was a bit softer than she would like it. She loves to rattle off hard ground. It was a bit messy with the last fence being taken out (due to the low lying sun). It was a long run-in. She will go to Killarney now for a two mile six race there.

she is some gutsy mare to come back so well after what was a terrible fall and jumped for fun today. Today's ground was as slow as she'd want it but I'm thrilled with her. She'll get seven pounds from the geldings in novice chases now and she will stay 2m4f to 2m6f but just isn't a soft ground mare.

Punchestown Thu, 17th Oct, 2013 (1st)
she's been going since back in April and has never missed a beat and will go out for the winter now. She has got big black-type now and we'll bring her back in the spring. She's had a great time in the mares' races and I must thank the pattern committee for putting on such a lovely program. She had a great run of it during the summer and was able to take a step up in class each time and the races were all spread out nicely. Two miles two (furlongs) is too short for her and I was taking a chance today and she'll probably end up being a three-miles filly.

Kilbeggan Fri, 6th Sep, 2013 (1st)
she was good and settled better without the cheekpieces today and jumped well. We'll keep her going as long as the ground is alright and she'll go for the 2m4f novice hurdle in Listowel next. She'll have to take on the geldings there as she isn't eligible to run in the mares' race.

After race at
Kilbeggan Sat, 10th Aug, 2013 (1st)
She did it well. The cheekpieces probably lit her up a bit too much, but she did jump better today. She likes that ground but as she gets stronger she will probably go on softer.

Wexford Fri, 5th Jul, 2013 (1st)
It's nice to get that out of the way and I'm delighted with her. She will get further and she'll step up in trip to two and half or even two mile six. She won her bumper around here and she handles the track well. She might go to Galway now for a novice hurdle over a longer trip. The syndicate are from Monaghan.

After race at
Wexford Sat, 27th Oct, 2012 (1st)
she had a lovely first run at Gowran and being by Definite Article, I thought she would like the ground better here. She will go hurdling but she might go for a winners' of one Bumper first.
