After race at Fairyhouse Sat, 12th Jan, 2019 (1st)  he's going the right way and we thought he was in great form but didn't expect him to improve that much. The bigger track and the bigger hurdles suited him very well, I think, and the strong pace. It's extraordinary because on his pedigree he's an out-and-out stayer but he has a touch of class. We'll have to think of the Pertemps now at Punchestown next month. It suits him very well to have the three or four weeks between his races so that would be ideal for him. It's great for Gerry (Cullen, owner); he's a 90-year-old man and he's a great enthusiast. That's better than any pills! A L T Moore

After race at Fairyhouse Sat, 15th Dec, 2018 (1st)  he's going the right way and I suppose he'll have to carry on for another while over hurdles. He jumps like he wants fences. He's just a nice genuine horse and at this age he's improving. We'll keep him going once the ground doesn't get too heavy and he takes his races very well. As I said before, I rode a winner for Gerry Cullen (owner) about a hundred years ago! I've had a good few winners for him over the years and he's always been involved in the yard. He's a lovely man and it's always a great pleasure to have a winner for him. We could look at one of the Pertemps qualifiers with him but I doubt he'd get into one, he'd need to go up again. After race at Down Royal Fri, 2nd Nov, 2018 (1st)  I rode a bumper winner for (joint-owner) Gerry Cullen about 50 years ago when I was a kid. We've had a bit of luck over the years. He's been very consistent and has been knocking on the door. He ran into a well-handicapped horse the last day. He'll go chasing shortly, he's got nice technique and will take to it quickly. It's nice to be back in the winners enclosure. A L T Moore
