Pat gave him a super ride. He is a quirky bugger and Pat did the right time by taking him away from the others horses after the start. I was very concerned about the ground but I don't think its as soft as people thought. He is very consistent, but he doesn't take a lot of racing, so we will try and freshen him up now.

I'm delighted with him. I thought he'd run a very big race as he's been working well,. Will Hayes has done a masterful job with him. Without him he wouldn't be racing as he's very hard to get into the stalls. Pat gave him a top class ride as well.

It's well deserved as he's been knocking on the door,. He's just got caught on his last two starts over further and we'll campaign him between seven and a mile. Hopefully the handicap is not too hard on him.
