Cailin claims Curragh win for Corby
Found wins Royal Whip & enters Arc picture
. You would have to be delighted with that for her first run back. She has plenty of pace, and over a mile she was probably getting there too early. Seamie gave her a lovely ride.
An Saighdiur battles for ninth win
he was handicapped on fast ground, and scoped badly last week at Dundalk. He has bad feet and I was a bit concerned as he was shod during the week, and usually needs at least a week before we can run him. But the rain came and I decided to take a chance. He'll go for the Ayr Gold Cup, or the Silver Cup, which ever race he gets into.
Herald The Dawn wins Futurity Stakes
Kevin (Manning) said the wheels were spinning but he got there. He's basically a good ground horse but he overcame the adversity. He can do six furlongs, seven or a mile. We'll see where he fits in, and we have choices in Ireland, England and France.
St George shortens for St Leger glory
he handles an ease in the ground well and is maturing lovely. Seamie was very happy with him.
Skipper claims second win in a week
Gary gave him a lovely uncomplicated ride. I was a bit worried about the ground but felt he was the best horse in the race. He's in again at Bellewstown on Wednesday and we'll see how he comes out of this and check his bloods before deciding.
Fahy has first Curragh win with Western Boy
I'm delighted as that's my first winner at the Curragh; I've gone close before and been beaten heads and necks, and I thought it would never come. We'll try and find something similar, and stick to the flat for the time being.
Newcomer Plot Twist wins Curragh finale
we've been waiting on him for a while. He's a big horse and was very immature last year. He was barely ready for a run and Chris said he blew up twice. He's a lovely mover and Chris was very impressed. It's possible he could go for a Group 3 at Leopardstown on Irish Champions Weekend.
