Mull Runs On at Navan
He'd no luck the last day at Listowel where he came out of stalls awkwardly and he ran a bit free with his head up in the air. He jumped well today and he got to the front turning into the straight and kept at it and was coming away from them after the last. He came to me as a good horse from Michael McElhone's were he won a couple of good races for him, we will probably go back for a flat race next with him.
Colville saddles first winner on track
That was grand, it was a long time coming and it was great to get my first winner on the track. She did it in some style and we'll probably go for a winner's race next and maybe try get a bit of Black Type for her. There's a race coming up in Down Royal that we might go for. I've only a handful of horses in training and mainly have point to pointers and then sell them on.
High Gales won't stop Lambe
He's a very smart horse, we took him to England to educate him. The plan was always to comeback here, he was a little bit mentally immature. Tony McCoy has won on him and likes him and he's only going to improve. He wants good ground but in saying that the last day he won there was fair cut in the ground so he's very versatile. The plan now is to go for the novice hurdle over two and half miles at the Murphy's Meeting at Cheltenham I think he's earned it after winning here.
Mr Duffy scores for Hughes/Loughran
It's great he won after being out for so long, he's been plagued with injury but he's stayed sound this time., . He wants good ground and we'll try pick up something similar for him but he's a real chaser in the making.
Walsh in double form at Navan
Ruby was good there, he gave me a bit of a fright down the back but he won well in the end. I've nothing really in mind for him at the moment.
Hughes/Loughran back in the winner's enclosure
He's a nice horse, he's always been a nice horse. He won his maiden up at Down Royal and then won a fairly competitive handicap at Fairyhouse in the Spring. He's a good ground horse and we'll keep him on the go while the ground remains good.
