Daisy Peers quickens up well for Sheridan
She quickened up well, whether they went a bit hard in front - I don't know,. I was a bit anxious with her dropping back in trip. I said to Joey to take his time because sometimes when they drop back in trip and you have them up there it's one way to get them beat. At least we were finishing the other way and she finished out well. I'm pleased for Anthony Mithen, it's the first horse we've had for him. He has a big stud farm down in Australia, he has a couple of mares over here and bred her. It's a good result. We'll see what the handicapper does now. I'm sure Anthony would like to get a bit of black-type but we'll have to see whether that's achievable or not.
Stag sticks neck out to gain maiden win
He's a lovely horse, he's a big horse and just took his time,. He thrived on that quicker ground. He's a seven furlong horse but I just thought I'd take a chance here with the stiff finish. Nathan said he got a bit lonely in front. He's a big scopey horse and just loves that ground. When he ran in Tipperary it was probably a bit yielding and he probably didn't get home. He loved that though, travelled beautifully the whole way through the race. We'll see what the handicapper does, that's his third run now.
Geocentric lands the odds in Navan
We don't really like running them back too soon but she would have been working today and it was a local track. She did it well, she had to do it on her own. We'll bring her back home now, give her a bit of time, and we won't rush her. She's a filly that will get six furlongs and will get a bit of easier ground as well. She's done her job, she got a good lead there and Colin was very happy with her. She has a good page and getting some black-type would obviously be the plan.
Amazing Emma lands second victory of her career
It's well deserved because she's been running well. She's very genuine. Unfortunately she missed the break at Bellewstown last week but she stayed on really well at the end. You can't murder them when they miss the break in those five-furlong dashes. She was good today, very calm and collected. Chris was very good on her. She was drawn on the outside, which some don't like but I do, as you are out of trouble. She won well, she quickened up really well from a furlong-and-a-half out and she was never struggling. She's by Mehmas who is a helluva good stallion. He's absolutely flying and everybody wants to buy them. They are very fast horses. Tally Ho Stud do a great job, they buy some fantastic stallions. We support them and they support us by buying the foals that we breed. They are a great company, you won't beat the O'Callaghans.
