Padraig Roche bagged a double at Gowran Park today when Walking On Glass made a successful switch back to hurdling in the three-mile handicap.

Aidan Kelly took the mount on the Big Bad Bob gelding again having scored on him over fences at Ballinrobe last month.

He held the 7/1 shot up before driving his mount into contention going to the last.

Walking On Glass jumped to the front over the final flight and held the late charge of Unexpected Depth to record a head victory.

“He's a right little horse, he's tough and he's honest,” said Roche.

“That's his seventh win and I'm delighted with him. He's in good order and as long as the ground is good we'll run away.

“We might even put him in the Munster National, if we got in there off a low weight we might have a go at that.

“He's only tiny, he's all guts and heart.”

Roche had also landed the opener with the Mark Walsh-ridden Cougar
