Fennis Moll who got in as a reserve, landed the spoils in the La Na gClub Handicap Chase, scoring under Danny Mullins for John 'Shark' Hanlon.

The daughter of Presenting was just beaten a short head by Knockanarrigan at Fairyhouse on Tuesday last, but she gained compensation here.

Sent off the 5/2 favourite, the five-year-old mare kept on well from after the last to see off the challenge of Ross Na Righ (20/1), for Dessie Hughes and Ian McCarthy, by four and a quarter lengths. Take A Shot completed the placings, a further half a length back in third under Mark Walsh for Fran Flood at 8/1.

John Hanlon said afterwards: "She was unfortunate to get beaten at Fairyhouse and she was due a win here.

"The drying ground was a help to her. She will be left off now for a couple of weeks and she might get into a handicap at Galway.

"She is owned by John and Pauline Twiss, and John is a Garda in Glenbeigh."
