Flat and jumping action today with an unsettled weather forecast

There is plenty of variety on the domestic front today with a rescheduled jumping card at Punchestown this afternoon and a Flat meeting at Cork this evening.

An eight-race all hurdle card has been created at Punchestown, following two divides, and gets underway at 1.25 with the going currently described as good.

The forecast is unsettled with heavy showers or thunderstorms forecast and the possibility of between 10 to 25mm of rain according to Met Eireann.

There is also eight races at Cork beginning at 4.50 with the 1m2f handicap divided and following a dry 24 hours the going at the Mallow track is currently good to yielding, good in places, on the Straight course and yielding on the Round course.

The forecast is for a mainly dry morning with some showers in the afternoon (2-4mm approx).
