The Stewards requested a report from Norman Lee, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Oskar High, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Norman Lee stated that his charge has not run in three months and appreciated the yielding ground today and his horses also seem to have returned to form recently. An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (109 = 11st 12lbs) Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 11st 12lbs and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbs Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won. Riders - Confined to Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the allowance under Rule 52 (iii).
