The subject of good market support on that occasion, it'll come as no surprise if he manages to follow-up. Handicap debutant Brilliant Light is an interesting contender after making the breakthrough at Worcester recently, while Ballywilliam Boy, who was third over the course and distance on Thursday, and dual UK winner Dream In The Park are others of interest.

As a young horse he showed a lot of potential and he’s after coming back off three career threatening injuries. I’ve never had a winner in Listowel before and I’ve had plenty of seconds and thirds over the past 15 years. He was in earlier in the week and I didn’t run him because of the ground. I had disease in my hay and couldn't understand how he got beaten at Limerick. He was cruising turning-in at Limerick, like today, but didn't get home. He'll probably go to Mallow for a Grade 3 novice hurdle at the weekend. Today's race was like a piece of work and he'll go on any ground. It was an eventful race. He jumped very poor early on and as a result ended up further back than he wanted to be, but he has an engine and his bumper form was reasonable. There will be huge improvement in him as he’s a very raw and weak horse. I’m delighted to win and it’s a lovely pot.
