FormscanBy Michael Graham - ALEX D can make the most of a drop in class. He has finished a fair fourth in his last three outings in better company, and was beaten less than two lengths when upped to this trip in the Curragh last month. The handicapper has dropped him by a further 1lb. Sanosuke ran a decent race in third when dipping his toes into handicap company for the first time at Killarney. Jockey Andrew Slattery rode out his claim at Galway on Saturday, so is a good man to have on board in an apprentice race. Cheekpieces are tried on Sanosuke. Palace Rock followed up on a mile and a half Dundalk maiden victory with success over hurdles at Navan. He has since been pitched into Grade One and Grade B class over hurdles, so has to be given plenty of respect on this return to the level.
