FormscanBy Gary Carson - It was very noteworthy to hear Gordon Elliott pick out DEATH DUTY as the best handicapped of his horses this week and the former Grade 1 winner, over hurdles and fences, does looks very appealing off a mark of 145. He bounced back to form at Punchestown last time when running out a convincing winner of the National Trial there, his first success since winning the Drinmore Chase in December 2017. He had slid to a nice mark last time and there still looks room to manoeuvre off half a stone higher here. Noble Yeats is another interesting one for the Irish team after a good run to finish second in Grade 2 company at Wetherby last month. He beat Gabynako on his chase debut but had been a bit disappointing until his run last time. The handicapper left him on a mark of 148 after his latest effort. Does He Know looks the best of the English challenge and has to be respected after a cosy success in Grade 2 company at Ascot last month.
