FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Third in the Queen Mary after winning her first two starts for David O'Meara, MARIA BRANWELL shaped okay in two starts at stakes level last month after being bought for 180,000 guineas at the end of her juvenile campaign. Testing ground was against her when fourth at Cork as was the sixth furlong when weakening into mid-division behind The Antarctic in a Group 3 at Naas. Actually raised 1lb for that latest effort, she can take advantage of this drop in class under a 10lb claimer. Silmaniya was consistent at two and had Dontspoilasale back in fourth when winning a premier nursery at Navan. She handled rain-softened ground on that occasion but will be more suited to this sound surface. Dontspoilasale is 1lb worse off with Silmaniya after running a cracker against a much higher-rated rival at Dundalk on his final juvenile start. From an upwardly mobile yard which is in great form, he may be capable of better and won't mind quick ground.
