Rock On The Moor is the headline name here with her 137 rating and many punters are likely to side with the nine-year-old. The fact that she represents the red-hot combination of Jessica Harrington and Robbie Power only adds to her appeal.
Last time, on what was just her third run over fences, the classy daughter of Flemensfirth performed satisfactorily when fifth in the Glencarraig Lady Mares Handicap Chase under top-weight at the Punchestown Festival.
Harrington's charge should enjoy the lively ground for this assignment and though she hasn't won since February 2015, connections will doubtless be hopeful that she'll put a fourth career win on the board now. Kalopsia is a formidable opponent for Rock On The Moor. This one, also by Flemensfirth, has her first start over the larger obstacles here.
She popped up at odds of 20-1 in a Flat maiden at Tipperary last time and she's also got a couple of hurdle and bumper successes to her credit. Mark Walsh will don the JP McManus silks on Joseph O'Brien's runner.
O'Brien has two in contention for the Roscommon Handicap earlier on the card. He runs Remember The Days (Donnacha O'Brien) and Grey Waters (Wayne Lordan). Jessica Harrington also has big claims in this extended mile-and-a-quarter heat with recent Limerick victor Tilly's Chilli (Colm O'Donoghue).
