Former point-to-point winner Everybreathyoutake made a winning start over fences in the beginners' chase that concluded Limerick's card.

The 11/2 shot had 4/6 favourite Not Available beaten off in third at the penultimate fence. The Gunner Murphy valiantly tried to reel him in between the last two fences but he slowed down markedly before tackling the final obstacle and wasn't fluent at it.

Everybreathyoutake strode right away to come in by a healthy five and a half lengths under Keith Donoghue. Not Available came through for second ahead of Pennywell Girl (33/1) as The Gunner Murphy weakened on the run-in.

Everybreathyoutake won three times over hurdles in 2019 and reached a mark of 137 in that sphere. He had been off-track since June last year.

Trainer Denise Foster said: "It was a lovely first run back. He got very competitive and I knew the way he jumped the second last he had a really good chance and he had plenty left in the tank.

"He had a little setback and will be a lovely horse over the summer. He is back on track now and we'll good fun with him and he is a novice for the whole season."
