There is jumping action today with a rescheduled fixture at Thurles plus the regular Flat meeting under the lights on the Polytrack at Dundalk this evening.

A seven-race card at Thurles gets underway at mid-day and the going is currently described as good.

There has been 4mm of rain since yesterday morning at the County Tipperary track, and a further 5mm (approx.) is forecast this morning to clear in the afternoon.

The Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap has been divided to form an eight-race card at Dundalk where the first race goes to post at 5pm.

The William Hill Top Price Guarantee Handicap is the feature event at 7pm and the Henry de Bromhead-trained Ascending looks sure to go off favourite.

The dual-purpose gelding scored on the Flat for Clive Cox before joining the Knockeen yard and is bidding to end a frustrating sequence of placed efforts both on the level and over hurdles.
