Cork cancelled

Cork's card on Sunday has fallen victim to the weather.

The track was found to be unfit for racing earlier today and a further update has revealed that more parts of the track are under water.

Paul Moloney, IHRB Clerk of the Course, said: "Following further showers this afternoon, unfortunately the situation at Cork has got worse and more parts of the track are now completely waterlogged.

"With further rain forecast this evening and no prospects of enough improvement ahead of racing tomorrow, we have been left with no option but to cancel the fixture scheduled for tomorrow.

"We will liaise with Horse Racing Ireland regarding the possibility of rescheduling this meeting at some time following our Hilly Way Chase fixture on 8 December."
