Scottish Champion Hurdle winner Anna Bunina is on course for the Dublin Racing Festival with trainer John McConnell also planning another Ayr raid.

The ten-time winner won Ayr's Grade 2 Champion Hurdle last April, having finished second in the 2021 renewal and is now likely to return to Leopardstown, having been unplaced at the course over Christmas.

McConnell reports "I'd say she will go to the Dublin Racing Festival for the Grade B handicap hurdle. She has just a little bit lower weight there than some of the other races, so we'll have a crack at that.

"She might run in the County Hurdle - she is also in the Mares' Hurdle, but she is wrong at the weights. Then, maybe she'll go back to Ayr.”
