Chinese White wins Dance Design Stakes
Chinese White (11/8) justified favouritism after she came home in front in the Group 3 Dance Design Stakes under Pat Smullen in the familiar colours of Lady O’Reilly.
Winning trainer Dermot Weld said afterwards: “She won as we expected her to, she did it well and she deserved her Group win. The most logical step would be to go for the Blandford Stakes here Leger weekend.”
“If we’re fortunate enough to win there we might go for the Prix de L’Opera at Longchamp. She got through the ground well and her optimal trip is over 9f to 1m ¼. She’s very effective on better ground.”
“She’s a very good filly, she always has been and she’s a lot stronger this year.”
