Permission was given for Improvise (FR) to wear a hood in the parade ring only and for Cet Horizon (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The winner, Improvise (FR), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Newmarket on 13 August 2021 where the filly finished ninth of thirteen runners, beaten by 11¼ lengths.
The representative of Michael Bell explained that Improvise (FR) had come on for its first run at Newmarket.
Their explanation was noted, and the filly was routine tested.
The performance of Thebeautifulgame (GB), which started favourite and finished fifth of six runners, was considered.
The representative of Tom Clover explained that the filly was unsuited by the Good to Firm going which in their opinion was quicker than the Good to Firm ground which Thebeautifulgame (GB) had won on last time out at Salisbury.
Her explanation was noted.
