The ground has eased marginally on the flat track at Killarnney following some overnight rain at the Co.Kerry venue.
The four-day July meeting commences this evening (first race 5.50pm), and 4mm of rain has left the flat track good (good to yielding in places) while the National Hunt track remains good.
The feature race this evening is the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Cairn Rouge Stakes, with the Aidan O'Brien-trained Easter currently heading the market as the daughter of Galileo faces nine rivals.
Further showers are expected with the forecast to clear later today.
Northern racegoers are catered for at Downpatrick tomorrow afternoon, and the going is described as good although it is currently raining. The forecast is generally dry tonight and tomorrow.
Meanwhile the Curragh is currently good to firm ahead of the two-day Darley Irish Oaks meeting this weekend. There was 7.3mm of rain overnight.
