Kalaxana She’s a very straight forward filly with a great attitude. Chris just said she didn’t handle the track that well. He had to pick her up to get her going and then got there a shade sooner than he would have liked. She’s progressive and handles that ground well. She’ll go now for the Group Three Give Thanks Stakes at Cork now. She doesn’t take that much out of herself at home and hopefully she continues to progress. She has the size and scope and could be the type to stay in training next year.

Lethal Turbo He’s a lovely big horse and it’s really only starting to happen for him. I ran him at the Curragh first time out and the ground came up really bad. He was one of those horses who thought he knew it all at home but when he went away he got a bit lost. He ran a good race at Fairyhouse but just rolled around a bit that day on the quicker ground. He’s improved a lot since and got the trip well there today. He relaxes but doesn’t lack a bit of pace either. When he was drawn wide I said to Shane to take advantage of his bit of experience and go forward on him. He got the rail which probably helped him around here. He was always fairly comfortable and if he gave him a smack he’d have found more.

Petticoat She’s a big scopey filly with a wonderful attitude. She had a lovely first run back here on Guineas weekend and we had this race in mind for a while. We’ll try and get some black type with her now, and she’ll probably go to Killarney (Cairn Rouge Stakes on July 15) now. She’s very straight forward, loves that ground and hopefully she will go on to better things. William gave her a lovely ride and just built it up gradually so all went to plan.

Kerineya she's a nice filly, a typical Aga Khan filly and Niall McCullagh has been riding her work at home. She was ready to start and we thought we'd get her out and get her going. She hasn't been on grass or anything so it was a good performance and she's a lovely relaxed filly. It was ideal with a nice small field and you'd like the way she picked up there and she had a nice blow so you'd imagine there is plenty more to come from her. It was set up lovely, she got a lovely round around but unfortunately the saddle slipped on our other filly (Viviante) and there was only the two in front of her to aim at. It was like a bit of work really the way it worked out for her so it didn't call on her to do a whole lot, because of her greenness she didn't have much to do but to follow two.

Kalaxana If she'd been rated higher we would have went to Naas during the week (the Listed Irish EBF Naas Oaks Trial) but as it was we were happy to come here,. Speaking to Pat Downes (for the Aga Khan) we're thinking that could be her optimum trip and we'll be seeking black-type with her. She's a big improving filly - loads of size and scope to her there. We thought in her homework she would step forward from her Gowran win so it looks like she has.
