Batcio gained his second career bumper win at Down Royal today as the Ted Walsh trained gelding landed the concluding Sky Sports Racing 2019 INH Bumper under jockey Aubrey McMahon.

The French bred son of Montmartre was a wide margin winner at Kilbeggan in August and doubled his score in bumpers today when beating Multifactorial by two and three parts of a length.

Trainer Walsh later said "two and a half miles in Galway was probably a bit far for him, he's a two miler. He won a point-to-point and he is a great jumper.

"Luke (McMahon, owner) has him for Aubrey to ride him and he's after having great fun on him - he's won a bumper in Kilbeggan and won here today.

"He'll probably get a bit of a break now - he likes good ground.

"He'll win a maiden hurdle with Aubrey somewhere and then he'll go jumping fences."
