FormscanBy Tom Weekes - DOCTOR DUFFY should be able to win this having proven himself a smart, if luckless type, thus far. He controversially slipped up when looking a very likely winner at Listowel in September before throwing away victory when drifting markedly across the track at Tipperary latest. He has a new jockey today and while he was a neck behind First Approach in that Tipperary race, now meets that rival on 9lbs better terms (including claims) and is readily selected to overturn form, with trip and ground in his favour. First Approach is himself a useful type and while he has strong place claims, might struggle to uphold placings with the selection. Feelin' Groovy was a winner at Limerick last and while cannot be dismissed, does tackle a sound surface for the first time today, which is a minor concern.
